2010 f150 misfiring?

My 2010 F-150 starts to shake when driving around 45-50 mph. The shaking stops if I either ease off the gas or floor it. Any idea what might be causing this? I am thinking it could be faulty coil-on springs. Thanks!

Ah, the ol’ “shake, rattle, and roll” at 45-50 mph—classic F-150 dance move! Your suspicion about the coil-on-plugs isn’t far off, but it could also be a few other things. It might be something like a misfiring spark plug or a worn-out U-joint in the drivetrain trying to give you a little “heads-up” before it gets worse. If it shakes when you’re easing into it but smooths out when you floor it, it might be the engine struggling to deliver power smoothly.

Best bet? Get it checked out before your truck decides to take that dance to the next level. The sooner you figure it out, the sooner your F-150 will stop auditioning for “Dancing with the Cars!”
