Not seeing any big issues except this leak… could it be a bad seal? What do you all think?
Sounds like it’s time to get that warranty going.

Already on it… got about 200 miles left before it runs out! Close call lol.

You might wanna look into getting the Ford ESP warranty. I’ve had it on all my Fords and it’s been worth it. Check out floodfordesp online… make sure you get it before 40k miles or before your factory warranty ends for a better price.
@Jael
I got one for $2450 for 11 years or 150k miles… already paid for itself.

Should still be covered under the powertrain warranty.

Yeah, axle seals usually fall under the powertrain.
Mine’s been like that for 1000 miles. Haven’t had a chance to take it in yet. First issue I’ve had with any of the six Fords I’ve owned.
Get yourself a Spicer diff cover and a lube locker gasket.

Totally agree… best $130 I spent, and while you’re at it, get new diff fluid too. Here’s the link: https://a.co/d/8Z75JYq
@Parker
Just a heads up, that link is for the 9.75" cover but the OP’s got a Super 8.8" rear. If you want a good 8.8 cover, it’ll run closer to $300. Wish I had the 9.75 rear.

I just use gear oil specific RTV. Never had any leaks.

Planning to do this for my self-maintenance too. Definitely worth the investment.
Had the same issue… dealer fixed it under the powertrain warranty.

Same here.
Mine has the same leak, but warranty was denied because it wasn’t ‘dripping’.

Typical Ford response…

I’ve worked for multiple car brands and they all do that.
Service will probably just say it’s ‘weeping’ and send you off.

Happened to me with my 09… couldn’t believe they thought weeping oil on a new truck was okay. It did last 100k before I had to change the gasket though.
