2024 F150 Lariat Powerboost vs 2025 Ram RHO

In the market for a new truck and torn between two options:

  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat Powerboost: This one ticks all the boxes for features and luxury (though the price is a hefty $70k!).
  • 2025 Ram RHO: This newer model boasts impressive speed, which is a priority for me. However, it lacks some luxury features compared to the Lariat (and their base trim seems overpriced). Plus, the Ram has lower towing capacity (which isn’t a concern), but how does its payload compare?

While I value luxury, the Ram’s speed is tempting. Anyone out there with experience on these trucks? Looking for insights on pros and cons, especially regarding payload and real-world impressions of the Ram’s speed versus the Lariat’s powerboost.

The Ford offers better gas mileage and uses regular fuel, while the RAM is recommended to use premium fuel.

Speed matters to me too, but I am similar to you I drive cautiously and smoothly to avoid drawing attention and to get good gas mileage. Enjoy whichever option you choose, but make sure it is the best fit for you. You do not owe anything to Ford or Ram, so be sure to test drive both before making a decision.

So you are worried about speed on public roads, or you looking at spending 70k plus for a drag truck??

The rho only has 540 hp 518 tq.

In my opinion, Ford surpasses Ram every day. I will acknowledge Dodge for its innovative designs, but the Dodges I’ve owned and those my friends have had have always been plagued with electrical problems. I would never consider buying a Dodge these days. The only thing Dodge had going for it was the 12-valve Cummins engine, but since that’s no longer available, I’m not interested in their vehicles.

While the RAM is advised to be used on high test, the Ford operates on normal and provides greater gas mileage. :slightly_smiling_face:
