2024 XLT 301A… Beautiful truck but missing some basics?

Picked up my 2024 F150, and I’m loving the look and feel of it. I even switched from the 5.0 V8 to the hybrid, and it’s working out well so far. But the 301A tech package feels a bit outdated. No push-to-start, no heated seats, small things, but they add up over time. When this lease is up, I’m definitely going for a higher package.

I’ve got the same truck. I’m in Texas, so heated seats aren’t a big deal for me, but no push-to-start is kind of disappointing. I do like that I can remote start it from the app—it’s pretty cool to start it from way across the parking lot. Plus, the safety features, info screen, and 360 camera are awesome. Much more room than my 2016!

Yeah, didn’t think I’d miss push-to-start, but coming from a car that had it, it’s annoying to have to dig for my keys every time. The app is super useful though. If I’d gone with the 302 package, I think it would’ve been just right.

@Dezi
I hear you. They charge so much more for the higher packages. Wasn’t worth it for me either.

@Avery

The cab is way more roomy than my 2016

Pretty sure the cab size didn’t change from last gen. Maybe if you went from SuperCab to Crew?

Yeah, the cabin is the same, but the dash feels further up and there’s more legroom in the back.

Nice truck!

If you’re going XLT, I’d say the 302A package is a must. Otherwise, I’d just go for the STX and save some money.

Looks awesome!

Not having push-to-start would be a dealbreaker for me. But it’s a sharp-looking truck! Jealous, lol.

I bought mine last month here in Ontario, and it has push-button start. Plus, BlueCruise is a blast. Love it!

Oops, just realized mine isn’t the 301A package.
