I drove the truck in the rain and it started showing these error messages. The truck still drives and sounds normal, but it smells strongly of gas when I get out. This has happened before.

The car has problems with both of its catalytic converters (P0420 and P0430 codes). It would be best if you replaced them. It also has a problem with the fuel tank’s vapor system (P0457 code). A faulty purge valve probably causes this, but you need to do a specific test to be sure where the leak is coming from.

You should fix the problem with the fuel system (code P0457) first. There might be a hole in the fuel tank or fuel lines. The other problems (codes P0420 and P0430) are not important if you do not need to pass an emissions test.
