Got an email about a recall on the A2Z adapter. Curious if anyone else received it?
Yep, I got it too. Funny thing is, I sold mine to some random buyer months ago after I upgraded to the Ford version.

Me too… good luck to whoever bought it!

Well, I’m one of those buyers. Guess I’ll be reaching out to support to see what I can do.
Waiting for the 35-minute State of Charge video on this recall…

Haha, it’s actually 36 minutes!
Tom from State of Charge talked to the CEO about this. Apparently, it was partly at Tesla’s request. Also, some info on a new extension cord they’re working on.
Thanks for sharing the picture! I wasn’t sure which adapter I had, so I checked my truck. Turns out I bought the updated version back in August, just like the one on the right in your pic.
Just got the email too. I bought mine in April 2024.

Same here. I’ve already filled out the return form.
Got the email as well and started the exchange. I had an issue with the ‘return’ option, but a quick email to support fixed it.
Yep, just got the email today.
Thanks for mentioning this. Checked my inbox, and there it was!
Got the email, but it’s a bit unclear. Looks like they want to pick up the V1 adapter right away. Will they send the V2 at the same time, or will I be without an adapter for a while?

V2 adapters are in high demand right now, with shipping times around two weeks. You might be without one for that long.
Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if adapters like this one are safe to use?

I’d be cautious. Personally, I’d stick to brands from the big three.
@Sawyer
What’s the actual risk?
