My daughter’s mobile charger never worked; every time I plugged it in, it showed a red light. Ford replaced it under warranty. I bought a truck mobile charger, and while it worked on 120V, when I plugged it into 240V, it powered up with a blue light, but then all three lights came on and it wouldn’t charge. I assume this one is faulty too. I tried two different outlets with the same result, but my Emporia charger works fine on the same outlet.
In my experience, after having mine fail after maybe 10 uses… yes, they seem problematic.
I haven’t had any issues with mine in the 5 months I’ve had it. I use it about once a week.

My wife uses ours daily, and it’s been good for 6 months now with no issues.
I have mine plugged into 240V at home. I’ve had it for 3 months, and the LED was orange once, but it fixed itself after I cycled the circuit breaker. Other than that, it’s worked perfectly.
I’ve been using mine since July without any issues.
I’ve had the same charger plugged in outside for nearly 4 years with no issues. I first got it with my ‘21 MME and continue to use it for my ‘23 Lightning XLT.
In fact, the charger has lasted so long that I haven’t even removed the plastic wrappers from the new mobile charger that came with my Lightning!
I’ve used mine 100% of the time for 3 straight months. I had one issue after a torrential downpour, but a simple power cycle resolved it. Definitely NOT junk.
