My stock tires were Hankook DYNAPRO HT RH12 in size 265/60R18. The Continentals cost a bit more ($7 extra on Tire Rack) than the Hankooks. They are quieter and smoother but slightly less responsive, and I’m seeing a drop of around 0.75 to 1 mpg on average—not due to winter gas or temperature changes. Despite the minor decrease in mpg, I’m happy with the tires since the quieter, more comfortable ride makes up for it. The Hankooks have a max air pressure of 51 psi, while the Continentals are 45 psi. I ran both at 42 psi cold, even though the truck’s tag recommends 38 psi, hoping for a small mpg boost. The Hankooks performed well with no traction problems. After reading Tire Rack’s positive test review of the Continentals, I decided to give them a try and purchased them from Sam’s Club (good price, but I had to balance the wheels elsewhere).
