Did the dealer forget my tie-down hooks?

Hey everyone! Quick question—I just picked up my ‘24 Lariat, and the window sticker lists “Pickup Box Tie Down Hooks.” However, all I found under the seat were the ‘T’-shaped BoxLink plates, but no attachments for them.

Did the dealer forget to give them to me, or are the plates themselves considered the tie-down hooks?

If you’re talking about the tie-down hooks listed under standard exterior equipment, that usually refers to the D-rings in each of the four bed corners. I think what you’re looking for are the BoxLink cleats, which are usually an extra-cost option.

Check under the back seat! That’s where I found mine.

The box link is a tie down plus there are 4 smaller tie downs. One in each corner

@Dell
So I’m looking for the attachment that goes onto the mounting plate—the little horizontal mini crossbar that I thought was the tie-down hook. But it sounds like that’s actually something different?

I did get pre-installed plates and a box of extra ones under the seat, but no actual anchor attachments. Is that not what they mean by tie-down hooks?

Sorry, this is my first truck, so I’m a bit of a newbie! I’ve only ever used D-rings before.

@Sloane
My ‘24 Lariat came with the BoxLink cleats. I specifically asked the dealer for them since they were listed on my window sticker.

Yeah, if yours were on the sticker, you should have received them too.

My Lariat only came with the flat tie-down plates. I ended up just buying a 4-pack of the locking anchors on Amazon.

My XLT came with the lockable BoxLink cleats already installed. Pretty sure I didn’t specifically order them, unless they were included with one of the tow packages or the bed liner option.

Edit: Just checked my window sticker, and they were listed under standard features—no extra charge.
