Did you know about this shortcut to Calm Mode?!

Does anyone even use Calm Mode? It’s funny how it’s supposed to be calming, but sometimes it feels like it just takes longer to show the info you actually need.

I use it all the time. Honestly, I don’t need the center screen info most of the time while driving.

@Hollis
I usually need maps and speed limits, so I keep the screen on.

I tried it once but haven’t used it again since.

I use Calm Mode every week. I know my commute, so I don’t need much info on the screen, and it helps keep the cab dim at night.

I use it when driving at night, especially if my family is sleeping in the car. Also, when I run into a store and leave the truck running for the dogs, I switch to Calm Mode to make it less obvious that the truck is on. Not sure if it actually helps, but it makes me feel better.

I use it when I’m just using the power outlet and don’t need the screen on.

It really sets a relaxing vibe in the truck.

Didn’t know about this. That’s pretty cool!

It would be awesome if the knob had more functions, like double-tapping it to switch to a different setting.

Yep, it’s actually in the manual.

I’ve known about it since I got my Lightning. It’s a useful shortcut. Not everything is in the manual, though—just the main features.

I keep activating it by accident. Is there a way to disable it?

I saw it in the manual or quick start guide. It’s a nice feature, especially at night when I want the cabin lights to be dim.

Wow, I’ve had this truck since February and had no idea the knob could do that. Thanks for sharing!

This is awesome! Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I found out about it by accident.

Happens to me all the time by accident!

I used to have a Maxima with a similar knob that you could push left and right to access other screens, not just the radio. It would be great if they added more tap functions to this knob… maybe a future update could make it happen!

Actually, if you hold it for 30 seconds, it takes a screenshot.

Yeah, I knew about it. Not sure where I first heard it, though. I use Calm Mode at night a lot.
