Driver's Side Heated Seat Not Working

My driver’s side heated seat just stopped working, but the fuse is fine. Anyone know if this is a common issue or what might be causing it?

If you check out some resources, like those on this forum, you might find similar cases. A lot of people have issues with the pigtails under the passenger seat. If the 14-pin connector has any thermal damage, that’s often the problem.

The fix can vary depending on the model year, though.

Good tip, thanks! I’ll take a look at the connector.

Just as a note, my seats are heated only, not cooled, so no fan involved.

Definitely check the seat controller and harness for any signs of burning or charring in the connector—that’s a pretty common problem. If you have FORScan, you could also adjust the seat heater temperature settings. Lowering the temps can help prevent controller burnouts.
