Just upgraded from the Toyota crew. Planning to level it out and put on those Tremor General Grabber ATX tires. Any thoughts or tips?
So you left one ‘cult’ to join another? Nice truck, welcome aboard!

Honestly, both ‘cults’ are great choices. Almost joined the ‘24 Taco crew myself, but the rearview mirror setup blocked way too much of the windshield.
@Zander
I’ve been a Tacoma guy too—had a 2014 and 2019, but with my twins, I needed the extra space. Plus, this F-150’s ride is way smoother than I expected!

I’m thinking of trading my ‘19 Taco for an F-150 someday, specifically a 5.0. Just hoping they don’t drop the Coyote before I’m ready.
@Kade
Traded my 2019 Tacoma in for $32K, almost five years after buying it for $41K. Not bad!

True, though my rear diff is starting to get pretty noisy

Bought my ‘19 Tacoma for $31K in 2020 and sold it this year for $24K after putting 80K miles on it. Now I have a 2022 STX with the 3.5 EcoBoost and love it!

Just a heads-up: those Tremor tires will add a bit of roughness. I felt it switching from stock F-150 tires, but it’s still a great ride overall.

The water’s fine!
First truck?
Toyota is losing a lot of fans over drivetrain issues and dropping naturally aspirated engines.

Toyota’s losing their way. Last time I was in for service, they had a new Trail Hunter in the showroom for $85K! Who’s spending that on a Taco?
@Bao
Someone with too much money, I guess!
@Bao
I was originally looking at the Tacoma too, but the F-150 felt like a better deal for the price, plus no drivetrain worries. If this was five years ago, I’d already be in a Toyota.
That said, I think the Tundra has a smoother ride than the F-150.
@Denny
I think the new Tundras look awful, personally. Haven’t driven one, though.
