Hey everyone, just got my first Ford and my first ever pickup truck! I’ve owned a Chevy, 2 Hondas, and 2 Toyotas before, but this is my first time with a Ford. Really excited about this F-150 STX. Looking forward to many years with it!
Oh, I forgot to mention it’s the 4x2 with the 2.7L V6 Ecoboost.

You’re going to love that 2.7! Just keep up with the oil changes and follow the service intervals in the manual.

Update: I made a mistake—it’s the 4x2, not the 4x4. My bad, sorry for the confusion!

The 2.7 is awesome. I had it in my last 2 trucks, and it’s solid. You’ll be happy with it!

I was really impressed when I stepped on it, it moves! It’s gonna be tough not flooring it before the break-in period though, haha.

Yeah, they’re surprisingly quick! Also, the features in the STX are a big upgrade from previous years. I do miss the thick vinyl flooring though; it was so easy to clean.

Yeah, I couldn’t believe how much I got for the price! I was looking at Tundras, but at this price point, you get so much more with the F-150.

For sure! One thing I do wish Ford had that Tundras do is the back window that rolls down all the way. That’s awesome.

I totally agree. Hands down the best truck I’ve had. Congrats again, welcome to the family!
I’m thinking of buying my first Ford too, and the STX is what I’m leaning towards. It seems like a lot of truck for the price compared to the competition.

I think it’s definitely worth it. For me, it’s a good way to get into Ford. Maybe in 3-5 years, I’ll upgrade, and I’ll have built up some equity by then.
