Sales of the F-150 Lightning pickup have also increased last month, with a 7.6% rise in retail sales.
Wow, congratulations to Ford! Their power promise and the overall quality make it a no-brainer to choose this truck over other EV options.
I think word of mouth is really doing wonders for them.

Definitely! The owners act like unpaid advocates. Even after almost a year, people still ask genuine questions.

We really have to be since Ford dealers seem a bit hesitant!

All I do is spread the word about the Ford Lightning! It truly is the most useful and best pickup truck ever made. I’d love to be buried in mine.

I met someone who has had four recalls on their 2024 model and said it has been back to the factory twice. Still, he told me he would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Those big discounts are definitely helping them.

It doesn’t hurt that we all look amazing on the road too.
I’ve had mine since '22. It’s an amazing truck.
I’m part of those sales numbers! Feels nice.
I just received mine a few weeks ago! It’s my first EV and honestly, it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve had several cars over the years.
I hate to say it, but I bet some Tesla owners are looking at the Mach-E now that Elon is making questionable statements at the podium.

Not to take away from the good products, but this could definitely be a factor, along with demand pulling forward due to the new administration that may cut incentives.
@Ethan
For sure, but most of the pull through happened in December. Very few people went into January thinking they had a real chance of getting that tax credit with the current administration.

I would trade our Model Y for another EV, but I’m not willing to lose money on the trade. I’ve already paid for it. Selling doesn’t hurt Tesla or Elon, so I wouldn’t buy a new one right now.
I actually thought about trading it for another Lightning back in November when I got $21,700 off and a zero percent interest for 75 months.

If the State of Israel says it wasn’t a Nazi salute, then your opinion means nothing to me.
Thanks to a mix of smart planning and good luck, Ford is hitting the right notes with their lineup and power promise just when many EV owners are looking for a new brand.
But, but, but didn’t Ford stop production because they can’t give them away? /s
It all boils down to pricing.
I’m seeing a lot more “just joined the group” messages than ever before. More people seem to be jumping into those $450/month lease deals.
