I always thought the frunk button was only accessible when the frunk was open and that I’d have to use the key every time to open it.
Guess I was wrong—hope I’m not the only one lol.

It’s hidden. I hate that it won’t close if the truck is locked though.

Just another weird quirk of the frunk. Feels like they let an intern design the controls lol.

Mine opens and closes even when the truck is locked. Might be because I have PAAK? I’ll test it with my phone out of range and report back.
Are you talking about the button inside the cab? Or am I missing something?

No, the button on the frunk lid itself.

Son of a… where is this mysterious button? Ha.
@Nico
Lol. Open the frunk, look up, and prepare to say ‘Why the hell is it there?’ I felt dumb taking a week to find it, but now I feel better knowing I wasn’t alone. One day I was standing there thinking it was stupid there was no button—then I put my hand on it.
@Joss
Son of a… I’ve owned mine for six months.

You can also use the keypad to open the frunk when it’s closed.
Took me a while too You’re not alone!
My 13-year-old figured this out before I did. Felt so dumb lol.
Haha, same here. Didn’t notice it for the first three months until my kid pointed it out. Weirdest placement for a hatch button ever.
You mean the button that’s super obvious when the frunk is open?

Yep, that one.
Honestly, I never use it. If I’m walking past the driver’s side door anyway, I just unlock it there. Otherwise, I just use the fob, which makes more sense since I usually want it open before I even get there.
Did the exact same thing when I first got mine.
I just assumed it worked like any trunk.
