How much does an F-150 Weigh?

I’ve been wondering… how much does a Ford F-150 weigh? I know it depends on stuff like engine type and cab size, but I’m curious about the range. Anyone got some info on this?

Yeah, it really depends on the configuration. The weight of an F-150 can be anywhere from around 4,069 to 5,697 pounds. If you have the base model, it’ll be lighter, but if you have all the fancy extras, it’ll weigh more.

Makes sense! I’ve got the V8 engine with an extended cab. So I’m guessing mine is on the heavier side?

Yep, with a bigger engine and cab, you’re definitely looking at the higher end of that weight range!

The weight also depends on the bed length and any extra features you’ve added. Longer bed = heavier truck.

Totally! I added a bed liner and toolbox to mine and it feels heavier. Can’t believe how much those extras can add.

Just curious… what do you mean by ‘curb weight?’ Is that different from overall weight?

Curb weight is basically the weight of the truck without any passengers or cargo. It includes the vehicle itself and all standard equipment, but not the stuff you load in.

I’ve got a fully loaded F-150 with a crew cab and the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. It’s definitely heavier, but I love the extra power.

Same here! I feel like the extra weight helps with stability on the highway too.

Yeah, any extra features or accessories you add will increase the weight. Running boards, lift kits, even sound systems—all that stuff adds up!

Good to know! I’ve been thinking about adding some upgrades, but didn’t realize it could make my truck heavier.
