Is there a way to keep recirculate on all the time?

Why do I have to turn on the HVAC system just to keep the vents closed? Makes no sense.

To keep recirculate on, you have to turn on the AC and make sure the windshield vents are off. It works until the outside temp drops below freezing, then the system overrides it to defog the windshield. It’s frustrating. People say Forscan can turn off the Enhanced Windshield Defogging feature. Anyone tried this?

Funny, my windshield fogs up all the time in auto mode, so that feature clearly isn’t working for me.

Same here. I constantly have to switch between auto and Max Defrost because the windshield fogs up so fast. I’m thinking about just using manual controls.

@Hart
Winters here are super humid, so I get fogged windows a lot too. Thankfully, Max Defrost clears it quickly, and it usually stays clear after that.

We deal with a lot of smoke from prescribed burns around here. Even with recirculate on, it eventually turns itself off, and it’s such a hassle.

Nope. It’s ridiculous. Honestly, what were they thinking, Ford? :joy:
