I’m looking at a 2023 Lariat with extended battery and 13k miles for $55k. Is this a good deal? I know a new one could go for $62-63k, but I can’t get the $7500 tax credit. Thoughts?
I was in a similar spot. Got a 2023 Lariat with ER and 16k miles for $50k. There was also a 2022 Lariat that I had them compete with. I thought it was a good deal, especially since I didn’t get the tax credit.
@Eli
Wow, $50k, that’s solid. Congrats!
It’s a decent deal.

Really? The guy above got his for $50k. Can’t compare apples to apples, I guess.

There are different trims, features, miles, and wear between ER Lariats.

Look up the Kelly Blue Book value. Offer the low end of it. Honestly, I bet the dealership will take it. My 2023 Lightning Lariat has 8k miles, and the KBB was like $48-53k.
@Rafe
Smart! I’ll do that!
Without X-Plan and the tax credit, that seems like a solid deal for a used truck. It’s $80k new.

Yeah, can’t really complain.
Sounds about right. You can check Edmunds or iseecars.com for price tracker metrics.

Good luck! Hope you get a great deal and enjoy the truck!
I wouldn’t buy a used 2022-2023 Lariat for more than $50k. It might end up being more, especially if you don’t pay cash and get a 6-8% used car loan. On the other hand, a new 2024 Lariat with 0% financing is much cheaper in the long run. I went back and forth between a 2023 Lariat with Pro Power and one without. It was way cheaper to go with the newer model and the longer warranty.
