So it’s been a whole year since I’ve pumped gas! Today was the first time I’ve ever had gas in my truck. Felt weird!
Nothing wrong with that! Kinda funny though. I do the same maybe twice a year when I fill up gas cans for my generator or weed eater. People sometimes look at me weird too, haha.

Maybe it’s time to switch to an electric weed eater?
@Aris
I have a gas one too, but honestly it’s a pain to start it up. I’m thinking of getting a DeWalt FlexVolt 60V trimmer. I’ve got the DeWalt 20V mower already and love it. Plus, I could use the same batteries for the trimmer.
@Thames
I switched all my tools to Ego – zero-turn mower, weed whacker, leaf blower, chainsaw, you name it! The new ‘safe’ gas cans just pushed me to go electric, lol.

I’m almost there myself. Got a few Ego tools already, but I’m hanging on to my Honda mower because it’s just so reliable.
@Aris
Electric ones just aren’t as strong yet.
I agree. I use a Stihl 131 for some heavy-duty work, like trimming miles of fence line. No way a battery-powered one could handle that right now. Got a smaller electric one for my wife to use, but it’s only good for light stuff around the house.
The Ego trimmer I have is pretty good for what I need, though.
I have a Ryobi trimmer, mower, and leaf blower. They work really well for my yard.

The Dewalt DCST972X1 trimmer is a beast! I recommend it.
@Rex
I have the Craftsman version, and it’s honestly the best trimmer I’ve used so far.

Depends on how big your yard is.

I do the same for my gas cans, but no one seems to notice my truck’s electric where I live, haha.
I still need gas for my boat, though.

Can’t wait for electric boats to become more common!

They’re out there, but they cost an arm and a leg.
Blasphemy! Say 10 Hail Mary’s We still need gas for our generator occasionally, so it happens.
Just don’t put the gas cans in the frunk!!
I always feel a little awkward when I fill up gas for my lawnmower or tractor, but no one has ever said anything. I think it’s all in my head. Like when I worry about people judging my windshield wiper speed, lol.
