Hey everyone, just picked up a brand new 2024 F-150 STX. Love the truck, but I’ve noticed a couple of things. First, there’s moisture inside the headlights, and the dealership says it’s normal… but shouldn’t they be sealed? Second, when I put it in 4H and turn the wheel all the way, it feels like it locks up and won’t move right. Is this something I should be worried about? Should I push back on the dealer?
Yeah, that’s normal. If you’re in 4H or 4L and turn the wheel all the way, it’ll bind up like that.

Got it, thanks! First time with a truck, so I wasn’t sure if that was supposed to happen.
Who’s Kush?

Lol, that was a typo. Fixed it now.
The headlight condensation is actually pretty common. If you check the owner’s manual, there’s a section explaining it’s normal under certain conditions. A lot of trucks have this issue.

Appreciate the info! Good to know it’s not just my truck.

Here’s the link to the online manual where it explains the condensation issue - https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?countryCode=USA&languageCode=EN&Uid=G2160678&ProcUid=G2160679&div=f&variantid=9537&vCode=1FTFW3L81RKF37893&vFilteringEnabled=True&userMarket=USA&buildtype=web
How much did you end up paying out the door? Thinking about getting a ‘24 STX myself.
