That’s a good looking KR. Hard to beat black. 1500mi must have been two very long days but at least you had a comfortable environment.

Thanks man! I’ve got truck driver stamina but my wife and kids are certified troopers. We come up every September for two weeks to see our family then head back.

Whoa. We travel 1,000 miles each year or so from Tennessee to Dallas. Although having kids might be challenging, the crew cab’s ample space is fantastic. Good-looking vehicle, dude!

Lovely truck, I totally adore the chrome

Thank you for that! When I originally bought Chrome a few years back, I considered removing it, but I never got around to it. I’ve finally learned to love it, so the chrome ought to stay.

What kind of tires do you have, and how is the mpg and road noise? attractive rig.

Many thanks! The 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers are mine. 2.25” level kit. They seem rather quiet to me, but I’m not sure how other people feel about the noise because I’m so accustomed to them. When the adaptive cruise control tries to bring it back up to the predetermined speed, my Borla Atak exhaust can get fairly loud.

I drove 1517 miles total on the trip, averaging 16.8 mpg. ran the entire distance at around 75 mph. From Florida to southern Virginia, MPG was around 17.5; however, the hills in the northeast, particularly when traveling through Connecticut, caused a hit.
