I had this same issue with my Flash. I pulled two fuses from the passenger door panel and it fixed everything. (Those are #28 and #32).
Shame this is happening so soon after the purchase.

I’m not happy with my 23; nothing is working reliably. It’s just one big glitch!

That’s frustrating. Care to share some of the specific issues your truck has?

Just to share my experience: I’ve had my truck since September. I bought a used one with 14k miles for 52k OTD and it’s a highly customized 22 Lariat ER. I’ve had to replace the heated steering wheel, 12v system, and now the accordion gasket for the sunroof needs attention. I had windshield wipers replaced and dealt with water inside my rear light bar outside of the recall. Everything except for wipers got replaced under warranty. It has 22k miles now, and I still love my truck! It came with a bed cover, spray-in liner, Rough Country automatic step sides, fender flares, Brink wheels, and Pirelli Scorpion tires.
I once had a Porsche Panamera that I drove off the lot and lost the whole transmission after just 5 miles. I needed a tow and didn’t see the car for about 3 months… stuff happens.
This happened to me a few days ago. I tried pulling the fuse but it didn’t work. Then I disconnected the battery for a few seconds and the radio started playing again.
I hate to say it, but it’s common for the Lightning to have electronic issues just like all the other Fords, which still rely on Microsoft software.

Their software hasn’t used Microsoft stuff since before the Sync 3 version.
Uh huh.
Had a similar audio issue over a year ago; it turned out to be the audio control module that had to be replaced. I had to send a letter to Ford because it was in the shop for two months to inform them. Within a week of receiving the certified letter, it was magically fixed. When the sound was out, it affected many other safety features, so don’t just keep driving it.
Lol. They pulled my new truck around, and all the back seat belts were cut. Someone must have slashed all three, and I couldn’t believe it. Since selling a car with faulty seatbelts is illegal, I had to leave and return after they were fixed. So annoying because I have no idea how it was cleaned and inspected before arriving at my location with such obviously cut seat belts.
@Paris
That’s really strange. Makes my experience seem much more typical, haha.
When I went to test drive a used truck, I found a single yellow peanut M&M rolling around in the center console and a rusty pair of scissors in the truck bed.
I had to turn my iPhone to airplane mode to get it to connect. I didn’t know about the 8 seconds volume down trick though. They seem to take about the same amount of time.
