Just got my Katzkin leather interior installed! Really happy with how it turned out.
Got the dealer to throw this in for free as part of the deal. Normally, they quoted me $1500 for the full install and leather swap. Heated seats still work just fine!

My Ford dealer actually offered this as a promo to close the deal.
I bought a 2016 Fusion with cloth seats and told them I wanted leather. They worked with a company that installs leather skins over the factory seats.
Came with a lifetime warranty, didn’t affect any seat functions, and honestly, it held up great. If I ever wanted to, I could’ve removed it and gone back to the original look.

Are you using the factory heating controls or those little rocker switches on the seat? I got Katzkin seats installed, and I kinda regret it… lost climate integration, remote seat warming doesn’t work, got dead switches on the dash, and the heat isn’t as good as Ford’s stock seats.
Katzkin offers factory integration for Tesla, but not for Ford—you have to use their little rocker switches instead.

What color scheme were you expecting? The headliner doesn’t really match either, but I think it would look better if the roof lining matched the doors.

Brown or reddish leather is always divisive, even if it matches some trim pieces. Personally, I think it works fine here.

Changing seat color is way easier when your truck already has an all-black interior, including the headliner.

Yep. On the Lariat, they’re a synthetic leather blend. The gas XLT now has a similar leather option. Real leather doesn’t start until you get to King Ranch, Platinum, or Limited trims.

Lightning Lariat has actual leather. The Flash trim moves to ActiveX vinyl in 2025. Don’t compare the ICE trims to the Lightning lineup.

Most ‘leather’ interiors in cars, furniture, clothing, shoes, and bags aren’t 100% leather. Look it up.

If a product is labeled as leather, then it legally has to be real leather. The tricky wording comes with ‘vegan leather’—that’s just fancy branding for vinyl.
