Yes 2011 and up
Looks like it’s had the intake manifold replaced. Considering they’re plastic, whatever, it happens.
Don’t know what year this is, but they’re not terrible motors at all. 18-20 models tend to use a bit of oil due to the ring packs being a bit loose, but since you said you had a sierra, you probably already check oil regularly since GM spec has been a quart every 1000 miles for years now, not much difference here

Lot better than the gm I had runs a lot smoother tbh

Feel ya, had a 14 Silverado before I got mine. It’s a dream. Need to stop being lazy and replace my heated seat.
Takes everything I have to not drop it on a 5/7 lower like I did the Chevy though lol
@Flint
Lol way too many speed bumps where I’m at for anything dropped, would like to get a better suspension tho my brother has a tundra and can’t feel a boulder if he ran over one it’s so smooth
Yes, and it seems like it’s also had some repairs/work done recently.
Is there anything special about them?

Special how? It’s a standard V8 in Ford trucks and the GT Mustangs, obviously the mustangs have a few different parts, tune, etc.
It’s a 2020
If it’s a 18-20 model you purchased a bad production for the 5.0

I heard they were the most reliable of ford 5.0 and the 2015-2017 gave a lot of engine problems
Really like major repairs??
I’ve owned a 2010 Sierra and that was pretty easy to work with but this truck has me a bit hesitant
