Offset Light Bar on 2024 Lightnings?

Anyone else notice their light bar is offset? Mine dips slightly on the right side, just before the headlight.

It’s a known issue. The dealer can adjust it to spec for you.

Probably 90% of them are like this. There’s a YouTube video I followed to straighten mine, and it worked great.

Pretty much all of them. It’s an easy adjustment you can do yourself.

You say that, but I was lucky enough that mine came perfect out of the factory—no adjustment needed.

Here’s a video guide I used to fix mine.

Just turn the screws inside the frunk to realign it.

Here’s the process I followed:

  1. Align the hood using the screws.
  2. Remove the grille (7 clips per side inside the frunk, undo bolts holding the grille, and pull it off).
  3. Loosen the light bar bolts.
  4. Adjust the light bar to level.
  5. Tighten everything and reassemble.

My dealer said mine was ‘within tolerance,’ but the sag in the middle drove me nuts. It made the truck look like it was frowning.

Mine is slightly off too, and it drives me crazy.

I’m on my second Lightning, and both had this issue. I’ve adjusted it as best I can, but it still looks off, especially from the side.

My light bar was way off. I adjusted it to be almost level, but it still bothers me. The 2024s seem better in photos.

Not really. I picked up my 2024 this week, and it’s still slightly off.

If this were a made-in-Japan Toyota, I’d be mad. But with domestic vehicles, this is just par for the course.
