Question about adaptive cruise on a 2024 leveled F150…

I just got a 2024 F150 with a dealer-installed 2” leveling kit and 35x11.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. It got me thinking—does the adaptive cruise control need recalibration? I know when you replace a windshield, it has to be reset, but could the change in the front-end angle cause any issues? Just wondering if anyone has experience with this.

I had a 2022 leveled with a slight offset, and BlueCruise kept bouncing between lanes. Now I have a 2024 leveled with no offset, and it drives perfectly with both BlueCruise and ACC. Mine has CCD suspension, but there are specific kits for that.

@Indigo
What is CCD?

CCD (Continuously Controlled Damping) has sensors that read the road and adjust the shocks automatically.

Oh, gotcha! I totally misread and thought it was an aftermarket kit :man_facepalming: my bad.

@Indigo
Appreciate the info! Thanks for the help.

I have a 2024 F150 leveled 2” with 35s, and the adaptive cruise control works fine. The main issue with lifted trucks seems to be BlueCruise, but mine works without any problems.

Good to hear you haven’t had any issues. I was mostly worried about the collision alert, but I’m guessing it all runs on the same system. Thanks for the insight!

@Chen
Yeah, the collision alert works just fine too.

You can recalibrate it with FORScan. It resets the module and puts it in learning mode. Just drive for about an hour in an area with clear lane markings, and it should calibrate itself.

Thanks! I need FORScan to recalibrate my speedometer anyway, so I’ll look into doing this too. Do you happen to have the FORScan spreadsheet or a link to it? I know it’s in one of the forums, but I haven’t had time to track it down.

@Chen
You don’t need the spreadsheet for camera recalibration—it should be in the basic settings. If you’re looking for a spreadsheet, check the FORScan forums or F150 forums, and make sure you search for the right model year since it changes based on the Sync version.

@Vail
Got it! Thanks again!
