Getting around 280 at 100% isn’t unusual when you’re driving fast or it’s cold.

It’s neither…63°F outside, and I drive super slow.

Yeah, just the unreliable guess-o-meter. Keep an eye on mi/kWh and tire pressure. With 2.4 miles per kWh, you’ll hit the estimated range, but it’s really grandma-level driving. I’m averaging about 2.3 mi/kWh over 9,000 miles.
I have a similar setup on my ‘24 Lariat, but I don’t baby mine. I drive up hills, do back roads, and hit 75-80 on the highway. The 320-mile estimate assumes perfect conditions, like 65 mph on the highway.
We’ve had our '24 Flash for a couple of months, and the GOM constantly stresses me out, making me think I’ve got a dud battery. But on a recent 100-mile trip each way, it said we’d return with 10% left. We actually finished with 35%! The estimate wasn’t even close. Ford really needs to address this; the GOM is causing unnecessary fear for new owners. CarPlay range estimates were also off, which isn’t helping. SOC should be the main focus over the estimated range to avoid confusion.
Loads of factors affect range…weather, load, driving habits, elevation. Just because it’s rated for 320 doesn’t mean you’ll get it. Could be more, could be less.
Full charge gives me around 273.
Depends how you drive it!
Mine says 162 at 70%, and on a recent trip, highway speed gave me around 1.7-1.9 mi/kWh…not great.
There’s actually a hidden 10% at 100%. Confusing, but true.
Reset your driving history in the charge app, and you’ll probably see a difference.
Temperature, driving habits, all that affects it. The ER model gets around 320 miles at about 45 mph on flat ground with no headwind. So yeah, it’s an EPA estimate…actual mileage will vary. Oh, and that guess-o-meter is never gonna be accurate. Just go by your battery %, multiply by 2.5, and consider that your ‘safe’ range.
Temperature and how you drive it…in PA during winter, that’s about what I get too. Summer gives me almost 290 at 80%.
Honestly, that’s probably about right for real-world usage.
I had the same thing happen. My fully charged 2024 ER Flash shows around 311.
Must be a chilly day!
Sigh…this should be pinned for everyone to see.
Slow down!

I’m already driving slower than a grandma. I baby this thing…haven’t even hit 65 yet, all local driving.
