Replacement Arrived for My 'Bad Batch' NACS Adapter… Anyone Else?

For everyone who got one of those ‘bad batch’ NACS adapters, I finally got my replacement a few days ago. It’s the Tesla version, but it sounds like they’ll be sending out a mix of different adapters from now on.

Wow, you already got a replacement? I can’t even get my first one yet.

Been waiting since March… how long have you been waiting?

Same here, waiting since March.

Nowhere near that long, which doesn’t give me much hope for mine.

How can you tell if yours is from the bad batch?

They would’ve emailed you about it.

Got it, thanks.

Yeah, my email said something like, ‘Your adapter might be from a defective batch, which could cause slower charging or even damage to your truck. Confirm your address by October 24th and return the defective one.’

@Aki
Thanks again for the info.

Ordered one for each of my Lightnings, one in April and one in March. Still waiting… come on, Ford!

Hopefully the distribution will speed up now that they’re getting adapters from both Tesla and Lectron.

My dealer said they stopped offering free ones after June this year. Is that true? (I’m in Canada.)

I believe the free offer ended on Sept 30, at least in the US.

It was originally supposed to end in June but got extended until the end of September 2024.

Still waiting on my replacement, but this is the first I’ve heard of anyone actually receiving theirs. Good to see!

Alright, quit bragging. :sunglasses:

Lucky… most of us don’t even have one yet.

His original order number was somewhere around 1800 if that helps anyone track their own order.

Did you get an email about the replacement, or did it just show up out of nowhere?
