Test drove the Flash and Lariat… is the price jump worth it?

People underestimate how much a sunroof improves the feel of the cabin. It’s not just about the window itself—it also gives you extra headroom, making the space feel much more open.

Had a sunroof on my last F-150, and it leaked constantly. The track broke once too.

I promised myself I’d never buy another Ford with a sunroof. Not sure why Ford can’t figure it out—none of my other cars ever had those issues.

@Gray
Never had an issue with mine. Didn’t realize Ford had a sunroof problem.

Just make sure you clean the drain holes. It’s a pretty well-documented issue—just Google ‘Ford sunroof leaking.’

I have a Flash, and the only thing I wish it had was the sliding rear glass—for the dog.

$8k extra? Not worth it for me. I actually prefer cloth seats over leather, and if you have cloth, you don’t really need ventilation.

I’ve had sunroofs in every car I’ve owned until now, and I can count on one hand how many times I used them before they annoyed me.

Nope, not crazy. Now that the Flash exists, the Lariat just isn’t worth it.
