The 2025 Ford Super Duty Pickup Truck Still Starts Under $50,000

@Terry
Totally get it. Vans are practical but jumping in and out of truck beds does take its toll.

I’ll be here to check off all the usual complaints.

You forgot the one about how no one ever uses trucks for real truck stuff. :joy:

@Caius
The people who say that are always the ones who don’t even use their trucks for truck things. It’s hilarious.

Unibody truck gang, rise up! :muscle:

@Caius
If you’re really using it for truck stuff, you could replace it with a kei truck and probably be fine.

Let’s hope no one brings up Camaro visibility in this thread. :sweat_smile:

@Blaine
I’ve never driven one, but people love to say the visibility is awful!

I rented one in Hawaii, and yes, the visibility really is that bad. Good thing it was a convertible, or I’d have been driving blind.

People either don’t know how to adjust their mirrors or just don’t like the low-slung feeling. I’m used to it by now.

So this is about $10k more than the base model was three years ago. $47k for a basic work truck seems crazy.

Is that after adjusting for inflation?

Adjusted or not, I can’t afford it either way. Inflation hasn’t adjusted my wages!

@Zeek
Same here. Tired of hearing about inflation adjustments when my paycheck hasn’t caught up. :unamused:

Inflation is built into the system, though. It’s how everything works, unfortunately.

@Quincy
True, but I still won’t be buying a $60k truck. Bye :wave:

Remember when trucks used to start at $15k-$20k? Those were the days.

Inflation, my friend. That’s why we can’t have $15k trucks anymore.

Wages haven’t kept up with inflation either. So yeah, I’m still mad about it.

Not really a flex when work trucks cost this much now, is it?

Flex? You mean the Ford Flex? That got discontinued years ago! :smile:
