This list is a joke. They missed some absolute lemons, and some of the years make no sense. No mention of specific engines or transmissions that are known to cause problems either.

Exactly this
@Del
Haha, where’s my Bugatti on this list?
Look at the F250 vs. F350 on this list. Literally the only difference is an extra leaf spring and the payload sticker, but the guide treats them like different trucks. Ridiculous. I give this list 5 clowns.
@Luca
Then why is there such a big price difference between the two?

Honestly, the price difference isn’t that big. My 2021 F250 was only about $2k cheaper than a 350.
@Luca
Even $1k for a leaf spring sounds insane. Couldn’t you just add an aftermarket one for way less?

Sure, but you can’t change the payload rating with aftermarket parts. That sticker is what matters.
@Luca
But if you know it’s basically a 350 now, can’t you just go by that?

Clearly, you don’t understand how payload ratings work.
@Griffin
No, that doesn’t change the official payload rating. You’re making me laugh here.

Alright, fair enough. Learning something new every day!
Thanks for posting this two weeks after I bought a 2018.

I’ve had my 2018 for 4 years, and it’s been perfect. 2.7 EcoBoost for the win!

Do you ever notice a clunky shift between 3rd and 4th in stop-and-go traffic?
@Lyle
I don’t pay attention to the gears, but I do get a little jerk sometimes. Not always, though.

Good to know! I try not to stress about it too much, haha.

This video helped fix mine: https://youtu.be/6dMDGr3wr_c. Forscan is super easy to use now too.

Just saw this! Definitely going to try it out since I have the same issue.
