I recommend the Grizzl-e basic. No Bluetooth or fancy features. It works well without any fuss.
We’ve been using our first Grizzl-e for over 30 months daily with our Jeep. Now it’s used every other day for both our EVs. We even got a second one for our lake cabin that’s been handling 100kWh+ charges once a month without a hitch.
@Bao
I’m not a fan of the app though. It has too many unnecessary features related to other Emporia products, and it’s a bit clunky to find the stats I want. But it does provide decent info, including monthly updates on charging costs.

I suggest the Emporia. It has been flawless for me. No issues and works exactly as I expected.
I agree. I had an Emporia before, but now I’m using the Ford charge station pro. There’s no comparison, the Emporia was way better. The software, while busy with all its features, is fast, responsive, and reliable.

Exact same deal here. I installed it myself, it was inexpensive, and the app is easy to work with. I even linked it to my national grid for off-peak discounts.

I have the Emporia, but I notice the cable gets really stiff when it’s cold. Other chargers I’ve used didn’t have that problem. I think it might be the plastic used for the sheath. It’s still usable but a bit annoying.

I’d go for the Tesla Universal Wall Connector.
I’ve been using a Tesla Mobile Connector with a NEMA 14-50 plug for my Teslas since 2021 and I haven’t had any issues. I traded my Model 3 for a Lightning, and now I use the same Tesla Mobile Connector with an adapter for my wife’s Model Y. It has worked great for the past few weeks. I know the wall connector is faster, but since I already had the 240v outlet, the extra speed isn’t necessary for how I drive.
Make sure to check your utility company’s rates. Some chargers let you take advantage of off-peak charging rates. Here are the brands my utility supports:
