We’ve seen all the American adapters getting delivered, while us Canadians are left waiting. I asked Ford about the delay, and they pointed to production issues. But we know that’s not true since none of the adapters are made in Canada. Are any Canadians getting real answers from Ford about NACS adapters?
I got mine a few months ago, and I know other Canadians did too. It’s puzzling. I thought production issues were resolved after they switched manufacturers.

Exactly, the production issues should have ended then. If they can make adapters for the US, they can do the same for Canada. All adapters come from the same assembly line. Ford’s explanation doesn’t hold up, and I’m stuck finding out the real story behind the delays.
@Finley
How can I actually reach out to them? I want to check up on my order.

There’s a contact number and email on the order status page, but they usually just give the excuse of production delays.
This really sucks, mine still says Jan 2025. Feels like they’ve just left us hanging. They won’t even provide updates.

Mine also says January but I already received it. I think they sent a bunch out without actually updating the system.
@Darian
Thanks for that, but we’re discussing Canada here, not the US. Ford’s treatment of us seems pretty unfair.

I’m close to Canada, just 20 minutes away. I noticed yours says Jan 2025, but the website hasn’t updated for everyone, so it seems like they’re not keeping track properly.
Just a reminder that Ford USA and Ford Canada operate separately. Sure, Ford US has shipped a lot of adapters, but Ford Canada really dropped the ball here. I recommend calling them directly to see what’s up.
@Phoenix
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ford Canada simply orders from Ford USA, and they’re saying there are no adapters left for us.

They better sort this out before we face that 25% tariff.
@Meade
Didn’t consider that Ford Canada might be sending money to Ford USA. What happens then?
@Phoenix
What adapter are you using right now? I need to get one too.

I’m using a Lectron Vortex. It works fine for the few Tesla Superchargers I use on my travels.
I emailed them last week about my order since it got stuck on January. I was hoping that meant something was happening. Spoiler: it didn’t. They claimed they sent out over 9,000 adapters between November and January but now there’s a delay. They said all adapters would ship by the end of April.
@Sai
At this point, we know the delay isn’t legitimate because Canadian adapters come from the same assembly line as the US ones, and those are being delivered. As for trusting their April deadline, why should we? They’ve missed their dates for the last six months.
@Finley
Maybe printing in French adds to the delay. Just joking, but I hope we can get our orders soon.
Yeah, forget Ford!
