Where can I find these headlights for 2009-2014 F150?

I want to buy these headlights for my 2013 F150 but I can’t find their name. Does anyone know what they’re called?

Those are halogen projector with LED DRL Chinese specials.

You should look at the Morimoto lights for your truck if you actually want quality and an upgrade to LED.

Or find OEM takeoffs from an HID-equipped 09-14 and the harness as well (note this probably will cost the same as, or more than, Morimoto).

@Poe
Couldn’t agree more. I have Morimoto headlights on my 14 and I do not regret the purchase.

Yeah, have them on my 16. Keep telling myself I’m going to buy a pair for my dad’s 11 as a big gift one year— but it’s currently down after a gnarly misfire on cyl6, limp home mode shutoff on the highway, and now in crank-no-start condition (so it probably jumped timing).

@Poe
Sorry to hear about the miss and crank-no-start. The good news is that both the EcoBoost and 5.0 of that era are pretty easy to work on, find parts for, and in the worst case scenario, new and re-manufactured motors are plentiful.

@Yan
Yeah— it’s chilling at my house for now and will go through an in-depth diagnosis when I can either clear room in the garage or it’s a bit warmer out (currently very near 0°F).

I’m suspecting timing because of the limp home shutoff. Only code was for a cyl 6 misfire and misfire at startup as well, which makes me suspect timing. It seems to be not sending fuel on crank attempts either, but I’ve reset the shutoff and replaced the FPDM. So could be an injector issue, HPFP, or the in-tank pump also— fuses are all good.

Battery got pissed as hell sitting on the shoulder after the failure too, so that’s my next step is putting in a fresh one just in case.

But worst case it’ll get a timing kit and a new water pump. Truck has 185k on the OEM internals engine and transmission-wise. Had a pair of O2s at 130k, a battery like 4 years ago, and regular services. Spark plugs were at 120k, so checking those too and the coils are still OEM as delivered lol.

@Poe
Sounds like you’ve got a good plan of action and a hell of a lot of things to chase down. Lol.

But I’ve been there. Miss on 4 and 8. Went through a similar list of troubleshooting and finally a compression test. Exhaust valves on both cylinders tuliped.

Put in Ford Performance heads, got some extra power, and moved to an 85mm throttle body because why not? May as well make it breathe better.

My next step is a Boss 302 manifold and maybe some headers, exhaust, and a decent tune.

Amazing how far down the rabbit hole you can go once you start! Lol.

@Yan
Oh yeah. Dad is a ‘keep it stock’ kinda guy so it will be OEM replacements, no chance for performance upgrades unless the cost savings is well worth it.

But yeah, the 3.5 Eco has lasted a good life so far and it’ll run again, just need some time and some warmer weather.

@Poe
Totally get it, partner, and I respect that.

I’m in a bit of a transitional phase. The old rig is just old, and it’s my unit for work, so I might be phasing it out and keeping it as a truck to play with and upgrade as I move on to something newer. Not that I don’t trust the old 14, it’s just that it would be nice to have a spare, and I miss the extra payload of a SuperDuty.

Sometimes I haul some heavy crap for work.

@Yan
Yeah, a spare is always great. Dad picked up a 16 Expedition about 2 months ago and I’m damn glad he did so he wasn’t stranded at my house. Always fun to see how long these F150s with good maintenance can go.

@Poe
Trust me, they can go a while! Lol.

The neighbor got rid of his 02 last year not because of mechanical issues, but because the frame rusted out. Lol.

He parted the motor and tranny out and made some money on it.

eBay

It’s on Amazon. Just search ‘2009 F150 headlights.’

Edit: Now that I’m looking at details. That specific one in the picture, I could only find it on AliExpress. Probably some cheap Chinese headlights.

Yuck. Please don’t.
