Not a current F-150 owner, but I was browsing online and filtered the models by highest to lowest price. I was shocked to see that XLTs are selling for $100,000. That seems illegal.
They might be Shelby trucks or maybe have a Black Widow package. It could also be that they’re still in transit and not actually on the lot yet, so the info online isn’t fully updated.

That’s exactly what I thought too. If you check the window sticker, I bet it’ll show something like that.
@Perrin
I don’t think they change the stickers for aftermarket upgrades, maybe they legally can’t. But yeah, I agree, these could be Rocky Ridge or Black Widow trucks.

Good point, you’re right. Either way, the dealer should have it listed somewhere on their site. No way they list these prices without showing why…or at least I hope not.
@Perrin
Maybe it’s a limit of their inventory software, like it only shows factory-approved trims? Just guessing here. And you’re definitely not a moron, you added to the conversation!

I appreciate that! What do you think about these kinds of add-ons? Personally, I can’t justify the price for what you get. The look isn’t for me either—those fender flares and wheels just don’t do it for me. Some of the smaller details are cool, but not $40k cool.
@Perrin
Yeah, it’s not my style either. It’s a lot to pay for someone else’s idea of ‘cool.’ I think you could build something similar yourself for way less if you really wanted to. I’m happy with my stock 2022 Limited PB, it’s simple and works for me.
@Jules
Same here. I’ve got a 2021 Lariat 5.0 in leadfoot gray, did an Eibach level, venomex wheels, amp steps, and some paint-matching. Clean and simple.

I saw a Black Widow truck listed for $95k on their site. I bet it’s the same deal here, just hasn’t been updated yet.

I’ve seen something like this before when it looked like they didn’t really want to sell the truck. Maybe they wanted it as a loaner or for a family member but still had to list it. Maybe their corporate office automatically lists everything, so the dealership jacks up the price to avoid selling it?
I remember one time it was a Ford F350 Platinum for like $350k. Insane. At first, I thought it was a typo, but even $35k wouldn’t make sense for that truck.
Lesson of the day: crack is bad.
I thought I got ripped off on my 2022 because prices dropped with the employee pricing recently. But wow, this is nasty . For an XLT?! In USD?!
I paid 30k less for a 2024 F350 Lariat Ultimate. This has to be a typo, or the dealer doesn’t sell many trucks.
Come on, that’s gotta be a mistake. No one’s paying that much for an XLT, stop pretending to be shocked.
Can someone explain what’s going on here? How is this even possible?

Might be price gouging in a hurricane-affected area. These dealers can be shady like that.

This is happening in Missouri though… doesn’t make sense.
It’s probably some special dealer package with a generic listing. Happens all the time.
With prices like these, the auto workers won’t have jobs for long. Their leader is driving them into the ground. Car manufacturers are being pushed to make electric vehicles before people are even ready to buy them. It’s like the government’s taking over production. Sound familiar?
Maybe that price is in Canadian dollars?
