Looks like I’ll skip this update for now. Funny thing is, the trailer light check feature has only worked once for me. Every other time, it gives errors when I’m hooked up to my camper. Not worth losing the widgets over this.
I wish they’d bring back the in-app mapping with push-to-truck. I miss that so much.

Never got to try that feature myself, but as a former Tesla driver, I can say we really need it back.

Just use Apple Maps for that.

Apple Maps doesn’t precondition when routing to chargers. That’s the main downside. Plus, it doesn’t account for Tesla chargers.

Looks like they’re making it more like the Android app. I wish we had widgets on Android… sucks that iOS is losing them too.
I updated, and my widgets were still there at first. The action button still worked to lock.
EDIT: Never mind. Widget stopped working.

Can you still use a shortcut to lock the truck?
Thanks for the heads-up. I’m disabling automatic updates for now. I use the Home Screen widget, Lock Screen widget, action button, and control center lock/unlock daily. Can’t believe they think removing those is a good idea.
Just tried to add the widget to my home screen tonight. Picked up the truck and downloaded the app today, thinking I could set it up like my old Tesla. No widgets at all… super disappointing.
I don’t think it’s a huge deal. The widget was mostly just a battery percentage display. Lock/unlock buttons aren’t that critical for most people either.
