Just as simple as the title is.
I saw a drop of .1-.2 mi/kwh after installing mine.
Edit: I lowered the rear to be level with the front. I have a bed cover as well which had no impact plus or negative but the leveling kit did impact it.
@Nile
Well damn, I need all the range I can get so I guess I can’t do it right now
If you’re talking a traditional leveling kit where you add 2 in at the front, that will definitely have a negative impact on range. How much is up for debate, because the vast majority of people who do it also put on new wheels and tires at the same time and the effect from that pretty much overwhelms the effect from the front lift making it hard to separate the two. But either way there’s a noticeable decrease.
Lowering the rear to level is a lot harder to do, a lot more expensive, but has much less of an impact on range. The one person above who has done it says there was a very slight decrease, which is interesting, I was not expecting that, but I have no reason to question it.
@Brooke
I will take his observations at face value, so I will be waiting until this project is done in a year or so then adding the level kit as I will not longer be commuting an insane amount of miles
@Milo
Yes leveling kit will affect range. And odds are if u doing a leveling kit u would be doing tires at least . Which also will affect range .
If you raise the front, then yes.
Drop the rear, then no.
