Please excuse the tan interior🫣 Now that I’ve added the new seats, that tan sticks out like a sore thumb! Next project will be to repaint the interior to match…
The Katzkin seats are beyond amazing though, especially the cooling seats! I haven’t tested out the heat yet, but I’m sure it’ll be great. Definitely night and day difference from the STX cloth seats! Total price was $3400 installed via certified installer(Katzkin selected near me).
The custom sound system is from SoundsGoodStereo.com and I’m completely blown away with how it sounds!! It was a plug and play system so I was sent everything needed to incorporate into the factory head unit. Amplifier rack was pre-assembled, the DSP amp was pretuned to perfection, and the custom harnesses/wires were at the perfect lengths to reach the head unit/battery. Just had to run the wires and connect everything together. Took me about 4 days to install everything, including all of the sound deadening(which was a pain in the butt) but it was well worth the effort… I can’t believe how much of a difference it made with the road noise! I might have gone a bit overboard, but i figured while I was in there I should do it right…The custom sub box(sealed) was a nice touch to the build as well, and it even matched the new seats! The shallow mount subs hit super hard and low. Sounds damn good with anything I play, really! I also swapped out that useless coin holder on the dash and retrofitted a bass knob on a 3D printed cover from Etsy.

Katzkins were added to my xlt. Best upgrade ever, good luck with yours!
I’m thinking about adding them to mine too. I put Clazzios in my Tacoma before this truck because the Toyota cloth seats were low quality and looked terrible after just 2 years of normal use.
How did you route the power and ground wiring? Did you run it from the passenger side firewall to the battery? Grounded it to the battery or the back of the cab?

I routed both power and ground from the battery, under the passenger side along the frame. I drilled 2 - 1" holes for each wire through the rear passenger door cavity, using the supplied grommets (all hidden under the plastic floor trim). Here’s an installation video I watched a ton: https://youtu.be/sIvKFn9lKYc?si=10f1Uq7Rbs0aFero
