Just wondering if I’m getting a good deal. I’m trading in my 2020 Corolla Hybrid (26K miles) and getting 18,000 from Ford. Financing the 66,000 at 0% for 72 months, no money down. Does this sound decent? MSRP for the Platinum is 87K at this dealer. Help! I’m trying to buy tomorrow or Tuesday. Tired of the FOMO and I want this truck! I’m joining the club!
How is this a great deal? He’s getting 10k off a Platinum and counting his $18k trade-in value toward the out-the-door price.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t they keeping your tax savings if they’re giving you that adjusted number? Why position the tax savings like that? If your trade is worth 19,500, they should show 19,500 as the value and let the tax savings work out on their own. That seems like a game.
@Dallas
Came here to say the same thing. If they listed the trade at 19.5, OP would be paying even less on taxes.
@Noor
Did you get the numbers on a lease? Thought leases were way better on these.
@Noor
I bought a Lariat 2 days ago for 15,615 off of sticker price. Not sure if the Platinums have completely different discounts though.

23,115 total discount if I include the 7,500 federal EV credit. Though the platinum model wouldn’t be eligible for that since the MSRP is over 80k.
@Shan
Is that with X plan? Did you have to do a private offer on top? That’s the kind of discount I’m looking for to pull the trigger.
@Noor
I’d exclude any trade value when you’re asking for people’s opinion as it skews the deal. No one here can accurately comment on the value of your trade. Use KBB or similar to check if your trade is fair.
I’d say that’s a good deal. Go for it.
I think right now 10k off Platinum is just the standard discount. I don’t think the dealer is kicking in any extra cash.
Does anyone know when the 2025s are coming out?
