Bought a 2018 XLT, private party, with 49k miles and the 302A max tow package for $28k. Still under warranty too.
New ‘24 Lariat 502A with the blackout package and 3.5L Ecoboost FX4. Paid $64k, originally listed at $70k.
It’s cool seeing all these deals. Been watching a ton of YouTube reviews on the new F-150s, especially around engine and transmission reliability. The main thing I’ve gathered is to change the oil religiously, like before 5k miles, and use synthetic. Modern engines aren’t as forgiving, especially turbocharged ones. I recommend checking out Ford Tech Makuloco’s videos. He’s a pro on all things Ford.
@Rowan
You’re right about changing oil every 5k miles, especially for turbo engines. It looks rough if you let it go longer. And yeah, Makuloco is awesome! Also, I’d suggest having an OBD2 scanner handy when you get high mileage. These modern trucks can be a little finicky, but they drive so smooth!
Just got a new 2024 Lightning Flash for $51k. Was leaning toward the PowerBoost but switched last minute.
Picked up a used 2023 XLT with 84k miles for $32k out the door.
