You’re not going to get a good answer on here because this forum is really snobby about mods. Like 90% of the posts asking about modifying say ‘leave it stock.’
But yeah, you can make the 2.7 louder. There are plenty of exhaust tips and mods you can try out.
I agree. I have a 2018 2.7L and I added a K&N cold air intake and a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. It sounds awesome.

To be honest, I was looking into the Thor electric exhaust. If I don’t get a good trade-in value, I might go that route and see how it sounds.

K&N cold air intake and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. I did that to my 2018 and it sounds great.
With my last truck and the 2.7, I had the resonator deleted at a local shop (cheaper than a bolt-in). It was nice – a little louder and throatier, but still composed. Then I got bored and deleted the muffler. That was fun – you could feel the exhaust in the gas pedal, definitely a little trashy, but fun for off-throttle pops. I haven’t touched my 3.5L though.

Definitely had that tuner-y sound but still better than a 4-banger. It was fun, I miss it.

There are many cat-back options. I run a stainless exhaust 4” and a cold air intake with turbo silencers removed.
I bought a Flow Master FlowFX cat-back system for $500 and change after an exhaust leak on my flex pipe muffler connection. It sounds awesome.

It’s actually from Ford. Got it online through a retailer called ‘Installations for Less.’
