Best oil catch can… worth going expensive?

Hey everyone, I’m looking into getting an oil catch can and wanted to know if it’s really worth going for the more expensive options. Would a cheaper one do the job just as well? Any advice or experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! If I end up getting a catch can, I’d go with the double type that connects to both PCV lines.

That sounds interesting! Any thoughts on brands like Mishimoto?

@Zoren
Haven’t tried Mishimoto myself, but I’ve heard good things. Let us know if you go for it!

This has been debated a lot here… try a search on the forum and you’ll find a bunch of opinions. From my research, a good setup can run you $400-500, like RX or Full-Race. Worth checking out if you’re serious about it.

@Zaid
Wow, didn’t realize they got that pricey. Do you think they’re worth the investment?

Depends on how much you’re into modding! Some swear by them for long-term engine health.

I went with the JLT Performance one for the passenger side. Ended up getting the can extension too. I might add one for the driver’s side eventually… can’t hurt, right?

I’ve heard a lot of folks like JLT! Seems like a solid choice if you don’t wanna go too fancy.

I’m using JLT as well. No way I’m dropping $300+ on something like this. The JLT is doing the job fine and catching all the gunk.

Good to know, thanks! Seems like JLT’s a popular choice here.

Just an FYI, I also went with JLT. It’s catching plenty, and I didn’t see the point in spending a ton more. Works great for what I need.
