Not code-compliant. I did something similar and heard all about it – flexible cables through walls are a no-go.

Not sure about code, but there’s no pressure on the cable. My electrician said the breaker would trip if there was a problem.
@Parker
If your setup draws over 60 amps, there should be a disconnect within reach – even for indoor units.
Looks good! Maybe add an auto-retract reel? Also, anyone saying ‘not up to code’ probably hasn’t seen older homes. Just removed insulation in a 60s attic – six open junction boxes.
I did the same. Chargers are outdoor-rated, but aesthetics matter to me!
Looks great! I built a payphone-style box for my charger, complete with a rain shutter.

That’s exactly what I’ve been wanting – where did you get it?

Built it myself with a material that’s weatherproof but not plastic-looking. Added a J1772 port for easy plug-in.
Add protection around the tube’s end – PVC could wear through your cable insulation over time.
If you wanted a clean look, the reel could’ve gone on the inside.
Not to code, but that wall penetration is fine. Just be cautious with the reel; cable heat can’t dissipate if it’s too coiled.

Good point – I don’t leave it coiled while charging. Just use the reel for storage.
Technically, this breaks code and may be a bit risky. EVSEs are weather-rated, so there’s really no need to go against NEC code.

‘No need’ seems strong – aesthetics, security, and personal preference count as reasons to keep it inside.
That reel isn’t motorized, right?

Nope, just for storage.
What kind of KW are you pulling while charging?

By the way, your address is showing on the image!
My only worry would be moisture in the hose box. I’d mount the port outside if possible.
