Pull this enclosed trailer at least 220 days per year. 2 commercial zero turn mowers and all the accessories. Probably around 6-6.5k lbs. \n\nPlanning on adding the RAS HD system this offseason because it bounces a lot on rough roads. But the 3.5 engine and 3.73 gears easily haul it at 75+ mph with no trouble. I do wish it had a v-nose for better aerodynamics, but you can’t always have everything.
Bed’s still empty /s. Seriously though, nice setup!

Haha, the Yeti 125 or 110 usually goes in the bed during summer. Gotta keep the crew hydrated.
The only issue with the bakflip bed cover is fighting the auto tailgate. It loves to smack the trailer jack if I’m not careful. That $500 fix wasn’t fun.
I liked the Extang on my 2017 better for that reason, but the bakflip feels more secure and looks cleaner. Plus, my crew always argues over who gets the front seat with the A/C. Ford really should make the back seats ventilated for $75k.
@Daryl
You can actually make the tailgate open manually through the screen settings. It’s annoying with a trailer, for sure.

Oh, I’ve done that, but it seems to go back to auto after a while.
What really got me was when a guy was moving my 2017 for me and accidentally hit the tailgate release on the fob. It dropped while he was driving and ripped the handle and camera module off the tailgate when it hit the trailer jack. That was a nice $500 lesson.

And it’s still spotless! /s

Looks like a pavement princess to me.
If someone’s not paying for your truck, they don’t get to say what you do with it. I love seeing trucks working, but there’s nothing wrong with driving it empty either.

Exactly. It’s your money, your choice. Some people just need to mind their own business. No idea why they spend so much time worried about what others are doing.
Why do people even care?

People with too much free time, I guess.
I got my truck as a family vehicle with extra legroom and space for my kids’ hockey gear.

Same here. I’m comfortable, and that’s all that matters. When I need the bed or have to tow something, it’s ready, and I don’t have to rent a truck.
@Ali
My brother’s a ‘real’ truck guy, and he always sends me posts making fun of me for how I use mine. Last time, I tied down a 2x4, and apparently, I did it wrong too.
But my kids love going from a cramped subcompact to a truck with all the legroom in the world.
@Blane
Haha, it’s like an apartment back there. My wife loves it because now she can pack half the house for our road trips.

As a hockey player, having the gear in the back of a car for a 2.5-hour ride home? No thanks! That stuff smells awful. A truck bed cover was a game changer for me.
@Frost
My son’s a goalie. He also plays ball hockey, and in the summer, he sweats like crazy. He drains his water bottle every game, and he’s only a peewee!

Haha, I used to be a peewee goalie too! Wishing him plenty of glove saves this season.
I tow the same weight with my Tremor, and the RAS system is a great upgrade.

That reminds me of a haiku:
I tow the same weight
With my Tremor and the RAS
It’s a great upgrade.
Are those stock wheels? I don’t think I’ve seen them before.
