Got an error earlier today and not sure what’s causing it. Anyone else run into this?
That’s worrying because the 12v battery powers everything. If it dies, you’re stuck—can’t even start the truck. I’d book a dealer appointment ASAP.
Have you added anything recently that could be draining the battery?
The 12v battery seems to be the weak point in these trucks. If you only take short trips, it might not be getting enough charge.
If you have a battery tender that works with AGM batteries, hook it up to the jump points under the frunk on the passenger side and charge it up.
If this keeps happening, you might have to replace the 12v battery.

I have a MagSafe phone charger from Twraps plugged into USB-C and a golf GPS device connected to one of the regular USB ports.
About a week ago, I disconnected the bed outlets to install a BedRug (followed this video: https://youtu.be/N1pPqxrr9tY). When I started the truck, I got a bunch of Pro Power Onboard errors, but they cleared up after 15 minutes.
Last time I charged was two days ago on an L2 charger. Haven’t charged since. Will L1 charging also top up the 12v battery? I do have a battery tender I use for my gas car if that helps.
@Dakota
I’d start by unplugging the phone charger and GPS just to see if the warning comes back.
L1 charging should charge the 12v, but to be safe, I’d charge it directly first.
That way, you’re starting with a fully charged battery, and the 12v Battery Monitoring System (BMS) will recognize it’s getting power.
Make sure to charge from the jump points so the BMS picks up the voltage. If you charge another way, it can take a few days to adjust, and you might still see warnings even if the battery is full.

The Maverick has this issue too.
I had this happen once when I left a Bluetooth OBD-II dongle plugged in overnight. Next day after driving a bit, the 12v recharged, and I haven’t had the issue again.

Thanks! Is there a way to check the 12v battery status from the instrument panel?
Yep. My truck’s been dead for six months because of this. Still fighting with Ford to get a replacement!
Sounds like the 12v battery is the issue. Could be old, overheated, or even frozen.
It could also be something pulling too much power.
I’d charge it up first and then check for a parasitic drain.
