How quiet is the interior of the new F150s while driving at freeway speeds?

Just saw a video of a new Tundra driving at 75 mph. It seemed really loud inside. How does the F150 compare in terms of interior noise levels?

Mine’s pretty quiet. I can hold conversations easily.

Toyotas are known for having lots of wind and road noise.

I just got a 2021 F150 XLT, and it’s so much quieter than the 2013 RAV4 I used to drive.

Tundras have never lived up to their price point, in my opinion. I’ve owned both a Tundra and an F150, and the Ford is in a different league. The new Tundra felt and drove poorly compared to the F150.

It depends. If there’s wind, you’ll hear some noise from the antenna, but without wind, it’s minimal. I usually play music, though, so I might not notice as much.

Depends on what you’re used to. Compared to my 2012 Subaru, my F150 feels like a Rolls Royce. But if you’re coming from an actual Rolls Royce, it might feel like a tin can.

Yeah, luxury cars are on a different level. A buddy has a Phantom, and it’s so quiet at 90 mph that even my Platinum feels loud at 20 mph in comparison. Still, for a truck, the F150 is great.

My F150 is really quiet. I mostly hear tire noise because I have Goodyear All-Terrain tires with the 4x4 Black Accent Package. If you have more road-oriented tires, it’d be even quieter. The Ecoboost engine is very quiet at cruising speeds.

It’s the quietest vehicle I’ve ever owned. Coming from a 2014 Mustang GT with Roush exhaust, this feels like a Cadillac.

It’s nice and quiet, but it depends on the road surface.

My 2020 is extremely quiet. Ford added a lot of soundproofing to mask turbo and transmission noises. That said, I’m thinking of trading it for a Jeep Wrangler with a canvas top.

It’s quieter than my Honda Odyssey. I can do work calls in the truck with no issue.

F150s are on another level compared to Toyotas. I have a 2024 F150, a 4Runner, a Land Cruiser, and a Honda Accord. The F150’s ride quality and interior noise are much better, though my Japanese cars are bulletproof.

Don’t forget about SoundScreen Acoustic Glass—it makes a big difference.

My 2024 XLT is very quiet, even quieter than my 2008 Honda Accord was when it was new. I recommend getting a truck with carpeting, as it helps with soundproofing. That’s one reason I avoided the XL model.

I was surprised at how quiet it is compared to my old 2005 F150, Honda, and even the Bronco Sport. Plus, the interior feels like you’re driving the Millennium Falcon.

My 2020 XLT Sport SCREW 5.0 is very quiet.

It’s a truck, not a limousine.

True, but it’s still much quieter than most trucks and even some cars.
