I’ve got 110K miles on my 2017 EcoBoost with the 10-speed transmission, and no issues so far. Plus, this was the first year for the 10-speed. knocks on wood

The latest models have a problem where it locks the gear for too long and doesn’t shift smoothly from fifth to seventh. This problem affects two of my coworkers who have newer trucks.

Instruct them to reset their adaptive learning. its how I adjusted mine.
