I need to replace both tail lights in my 2019. What is with these prices from Ford? Any other recommendations?

Ouch! Did someone steal your tail lights?

Nope, they’re just cracked. Happened a while ago, but I don’t know how.

Just go aftermarket. If your factory blind spot sensors still work, there should be a solution for that. Morimotos are great and way cheaper than OEM.

Check out Pull and Save.

That’s a good idea. I’ll do that.

I got one for my 2015 Platinum off Amazon for $250, and it works perfectly.

Didn’t even think to check Amazon. Thanks for the heads up!

Look for used ones on eBay. OEM is always the best.

Check out wholesale parts suppliers. They’re Ford parts sold by dealers but at a lower price. I’ve used fordpartsgiant.com. They’ve got your lights listed for $937 and $1065. Still expensive but way better than Ford’s prices. There are definitely options out there.

That’s great, thanks!

If you decide to go aftermarket, I’d recommend Morimoto. I have them on my 2014 and love them. Too many people buy cheap aftermarket lights that leak or crack.

I’ve already got Morimotos in my cart! I’ll make a decision soon.

Yep.

Check eBay. I replaced a taillight on my 2010 Lincoln MKX for about $40.

Do you have a good relationship with a Ford dealership? I needed one tail light and got it for $800.

Get used ones on eBay, man.

Either eBay or RockAuto should have what you need.
