So both my tail lights are cracked, and I’m looking to replace them. Ford’s prices are insane. Any suggestions for alternatives that won’t break the bank?
I agree with the other guy who mentioned Morimoto. Their lights are worth the price.
Check RockAuto.

Do they sell headlights too? I couldn’t find any when I looked.

Yeah, they’ve got headlamps and tail lamp assemblies. I found some for $1082.
@Sam
Thanks for the info!
You should check out the Morimoto XB tail lights. They’re really nice!

I’ve been looking at those too. Thanks for the recommendation!
Try Fairway Ford Parts on eBay. I got a pair of OEM tail lights for my 2011 for just $180.

Awesome, I’ll check that out. Thanks!
I’d go with aftermarket, but you might lose the BLIS feature. Maybe try a junkyard or scrapyard? Good luck!
The Morimoto XBs look like the original ones and are pretty much OEM quality, in my opinion.
You can find Morimoto lights at Square1Offroad.com.
Did someone steal your lights? Do you have Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)?
If you don’t, you can just grab lights from AutoZone or anywhere else really.

What’s BSM?
Nah, my lights are just cracked but still work. Haven’t gotten around to replacing them yet.
@Mal
BSM is Blind Spot Monitoring.

Oh, got it. Yes, my truck has BSM.

That’s why it’s so expensive. The BSM and cross-traffic sensors are built into the lights. You can find cheaper places than Ford, but it’s still going to cost a bit.

If the lights are just cracked but still work and your BSM is fine, you don’t need to replace the whole assembly. You can just swap the housing and keep your BSM module.
Yep, those are blind spot tail lights, and they come with both the sensor and the module inside. Also, they’re priced higher than MSRP, so see if the dealer will sell them for MSRP. Sometimes they will if they think you might walk away.
