Joined the matrix lighting group… anyone else?

I used Forscan to turn on matrix lighting and made sure it was showing up in the user screen. Also disabled the seatbelt chime and changed the turn signal to 6 flashes instead of 3. Feels much better now.

I’m in San Bernardino and sometimes bike through Palm Canyon. Might stop by! But honestly, I had no idea what matrix lighting was. I thought this group was for Toyota Matrix owners putting underglow lights on their cars lol.

I enabled a few things:

  • Matrix headlights
  • Increased steering wheel heat
  • Seatbelt chime only after the car is moving
  • Added ‘Silent Mode’ option

Check this out for more mods:

Here’s how the matrix headlights work: Over 40mph, high beams stay on but automatically dim sections to avoid blinding other drivers. You still get great visibility.

Is there a way to change the DRL to amber and make the turn signal white instead? Basically swap them.

You’d have to check on Forscan sites for that. Not something I’d want personally.

I started with YouTube, but after your first mod, it’s easy. There are lots of forums with Forscan mod lists.

Did the same thing on my XLT. Plan to do it again as soon as I get my new Flash.

Also turned up the steering wheel heat.

Did your headlight icon on the dash turn white or is it still green?
